I have an Apple IIe computer with two disk drives and a super serial card. I have succesfully connected the Apple IIe to my PC using the super serial card and adapters and have been using ADT Pro to transfer my old disks (programs I wrote, etc.) to disk images for use with Applewin on my PC.
I have alot of store bought software as well, many of which are copy protected. I wanted to try and convert these as well for use on my PC with applewin. I read about using SST to pack the disks into two separate disks, transfer those 2 images to the PC, and run SST on the emulator to convert them back to a single image. I followed the instructions in SST exactly but cannot get it to work. When I load the first disk image into the emulator, SST says WRONG DISK. I made sure to turn off fast disk emulation. I also tried using ciderpress to combine the 2 images but that does not work either.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you.
