I have looked for one as well. Is there anywhere besides the search engines where you think we could look?

Does anyone have the schematics/service manual for this or even a DTR-1 or DTR-2 that might provide a hint?

I just thought of something. There is some corrosion on the main battery's terminals, and a little bit of residue on the board itself. Do you think that might contribute to the problem as well?

That's entirey possible, particularly if some of the nasty stuff has gotten under the solder mask and corroded traces.

I will look at that some more. Fortunately there is not too much of it. I can post some pictures when I get the chance too.

I got the chance to examine the board today. There are a few traces where the solder mask is darker than other areas with battery crud nearby. There is also one via whose solder is white looking. I figure that it would be best to redo the solder in that via. How would I remove a little bit of the solder mask to test the continuity through the suspect areas without damaging the trace?

One of the BIOS chips had some battery crud on it as well, but I removed it and sprayed it with contact cleaner and replaced it.
