Hi,
Hi, I'm really hoping to find someone who can make me a copy of a 5.25" CP/M (or any DOS actually) master floppy for my SOL-20.
I have a Versafloppy II card, and a Shugart SA 400 drive.

I've looked into how to 'Port' CP/M to the SOL, but unfortunately because I never used CP/M back in the day, I think the process it just to complex for my simple mind.

Thanks in advance.

Phil

Well, if I read the stuff on SOL20.ORG, your big problem will be incorporating the Versafloppy controller code into a CP/M CBIOS image and then creating a boot disk using it. What I've seen in SOL CP/M uses the PT floppy controller.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, getting the Versafloppy II and SOL-20 specific CBIOS onto a CP/M boot floppy is the key. Just how to do it with limited knowledge of such things. I have read some of the tutorials, but much of what is being discussed goes over my head. Woe is me...
