That I need to part with.
It still works, and has a keyboard, and lots of software.
It was used in a business.

Boom! Sounded like a capacitor went.
Lots of stinky smoke.
I guess I'm done with it.

Depending on your free time it may be worth still selling or parting out as I'm sure more than a few of us have one or similar unit that needs a few fixes.

Blown capacitors can be replaced. I'm sure that it's worth saving. I might be interested in it myself if the shipping cost isn't too bad, and you're willing and able to pack it properly to survive shipment (i.e., tossing it in a used box with some peanuts won't cut it for this kind of item). I have a Model 12 that boots up a disk, a Tandy 6000 whose fan turns on but doesn't otherwise show signs of life yet, and two bad keyboards for them. Plus, many 8" disks in unknown condition. I hope to slim that pile down to one working 6000 eventually, but until I have a whole computer system working I'm probably stupid enough to buy another huge boatanchor in hopes of getting useful parts out of it, if not fixing it up as trade material.

Does your Model 12 have the card cage option? Can you email pictures of it?
