Boot Manager for Coexistence of XENIX 86 and MS-DOS ?

Hi all,

short question(s), hopefully not difficult to answer.
I would like to let run XENIX-86 and MS-DOS on my 5160.
Are there any 8088 compatible boot manager existing to have it coexistent (booting one of two from the harddisk) ?

And btw. does anybody tried to install XENIX-86 with a SCSI controller instead of a MFM Controller ?

I tried it, it works for a dual installation of different MS-DOS.

Unfortunately I was able to find some information about Xenix describing "SCSI support" since Xenix [286] version 2.31.
That means there was no SCSI support before, so I guess Xenix-86 (for the IBM PC/XT) runs ONLY with MFM controller.
And so PC/IX, doesn't run with SCSI controller, too.
This is a bit ridiculous, because SCSI was found in more professional used systems (= like XENIX or PC/IX).

Only MINIX 2.02 (last PC/XT compatible version) runs with SCSI, if a special boot command is used (hd=bios).

I am not sure what you want to say. If you want to mention, that Xenix is able to "start" DOS in a first (non-active) partition, yes.
If you want to mention, that Xenix has a "dual boot" manager, no. I can use VP/IX to run a "DOS Box" in a Xenix 386 version, too.
But I have only an IBM PC/XT. No VP/IX. And with SCSI, no Xenix 86.
