That's 2 hours and 20 minutes right?

Correct. We started at 1300 PDT and ended at 1520 PDT.
To be fair, I had a lot of 'sneakernet' time in the 8m's moves:)
My 8m is at one end of the house and I was using my netbook as the terminal. Unfortunately, I've never set my netbook up for email. So,... I had to run back and forth to my desktop to send Roe emails of the 8m's moves, and get his 11/83's moves off the telnet connection and run back to enter them!

Yep, that was 31 round trips through the length of my house. And, to add to the fun, my wife thought Saturday afternoon would be the perfect time to have the carpet cleaners show up...wet carpets, hoses, equipment, tile floor, bare feet, well you get the picture

Now _thats_ what I call dedication to the cause. Thanks for the game!

This game actually demonstrated a previously unknown bug in 2.11bsd chess. After it won the game, it attempted to print a record of the game and completely gibbled it.

First, I have replayed the game feeding white moves into the chess program, and it always makes the same black moves, which is no surprise at all.

I'm going to find and fix the bug. I haven't posted a unix fix in at least 20 years...
