Hello all. My name is John. I started collecting retro computers around 2006 when a co-worker gave me a beige TI 99/4A. I bought the majority of my computers on Ebay before the prices started going crazy. Most of my computers cost me $20-$40. I'm running low on space to display my computers so I'm concentrating on documentation, books, magazines and accessories. My current interests are in the actual history of the entire home computer development.

The computers taking up all my space are listed below.
Apple IIc, Apple IIe, Apple Macintosh SE/30, Atari 400 (x2), Atari 800, Atari 600 XL, Atari 800 XL, Atari 65XE, Atari 130XE, Atari 1040ST, Atari XEGS, Commodore VIC-20, Commodore 16, Commodore 64, Commodore 64C, Commodore SX-64, Commodore 128, Commodore Amiga 500, Commodore Amiga 2000, Commodore Plus/4, Compaq Portable, KayPro 2, Mattel Aquarius, Texas Instruments 99/4A (Silver), Texas Instruments 99/4A (beige), TRS-80 Color Computer (x5), TRS-80 Color Computer 2 (x2), TRS-80 Color Computer 3, TRS-80 Micro Color Computer, Tandy 1000 EX, Timex Sinclair 1000 and Packard Bell Pack-Mate X20

Welcome to the forums! Nice spread of home computing history :) What type of system did you grow up with?

The first computer I used was a TRS-80 Model III (college library), my parents bought me a TRS-80 Color Computer and my college roommate had a VIC-20 then a C64. So I guess the answer is multiple.

I eventually joined the Air Force and didn't have time or money for another computer until 1993, when I bought an AST 486SX33.
