Harry here is a link to three photos http://www.scotnet.co.uk/iain/DEC/rl02/
The 2 "close up" photos show issues on the board.
1 a cracked connector - the plastic is very brittle
2 a bent test pin.
About 2 months ago the board powered up in one of my drives, loaded the heads and did read/write operations OK (a dd under BSD2.11, followed by a cmp -1. so almost every block was written and read).

However I cannot guarentee that the board works - other than at that time.

You were talking about a RL02/01 "jumper". I dont see evidence of such a jumper, so perhaps the board is not suitable for you?

Thanks for looking into things for me, If you could please check the board no,s ie 54-14025 or 54-13531 these would be suitable, the jumper in question is a soldered in link between two ic,s in the top right area, if the board numbers are as above, that would be a great help, if you can spare the read/ write module from this drive ( 54-13536) would be really good ! please let me know
..Harry
