IBM 2321 data Cell

The "clonk woooosh, ..." bulk data system for IBM 360 in the 60s/70s.

Does anyone out there have any of the actual data cells, in any condition within limits?

I collect computer media from the year dot to the 80s and one of these came up on eBay some time ago but I missed it.

I assume that because you represent a museum, none of these are available for swap/sale/gift...

And, yes, I am in England. But I will be driving around the USA in September/October.

Talk to me! I am a computer historian and collector and I specialise in computer media "through the ages" so I think this weird medium should adorn my collection.

But, as we say in England, "I am not made of money"...

Btw, what kind of swap would you consider?

Keep in mind that an IBM 2321 data Cell might be a problem as cabin luggage with some flight companies... XD


Seriously - if you got the time then try to check out an ACP swapmeet and bring some material for trading. Not gonna claim that many people will bring an IBM 2321 with them, but you get to know enough crazy people that can tell you where to get one :3
