From R-E in 1980.

Who is interested in a reproduction of this and what form? Bare board, or Kit B, or CKD, or fully assembled?

Let me know.

Is this essentially a breadboard interface to the 40 line bus? Any other features?

Hi Peters (as in plural)

CKD = completely knocked down = all parts, you build it yourself.

It allows you to design and connect experimental circuits to the Model I via a buffered interface without the chance of damaging the computer.

Ray commented that some of the PDF scans are hard to read which may make life a little difficult at assembly time once the PCBs have been ordered and delivered.

Can people please let me know which parts are hard to read and I'll re-scan them.

Cheers,

Ian.

For those interested to see what the completed unit looks like in full colour, here it is on the cover of R-E in November 1979:
