DEC Professional 350 - No cables or Keyboard

I traded a machine of mine for the Pro 350 which has a decent amount of upgrades, a color monitor along with the color video option....but I didn't get the breakout cable or the LK201 keyboard. I can't seem to find any notion that the machine outputs to the serial port if no monitor is plugged in either. I do however have a Rainbow and its VR201 and keyboard so in the meantime while buddy looks for the breakout cable I can get away with using that instead even though the color option is installed, right?

Yes, the VR201 and LK201 should work OK. You should be able to build an adapter to connect the LK201 from the Rainbow to the Pro 350 and use the color monitor, the keyboard will connect to the same 15 pin port as the VR201.

If you don't want to run P/OS on it, you can run RT-11 or Venix.

You were correct. The machine seemed to work with the VR201 no problem. Now to make it stop complaining about the battery.
