Hi Brad,
l’ve started restoring a CT-1024 to accompany my swtpc systems. My CT has the KBD-5 keyboard. A few keycaps came “disassembled”, having snapped off from the square base. The innards look like your 2017 vcfed post photo of your kbd5 switch, complete with that tiny t-bar plastic piece. One was still attached to the base so I could work out the mechanics/ movement. I am however missing two of those t-bar pieces. Have you seen this style of keycap used in any other system I might be able to scavenge, like you showed in your YT vid on stackpole KB repair? Many thanks for any advice.
