Hi George,

I effectlively bypassed the problem. I am using a Floppy EMU as a 2nd floppy drive. I still have issues with the apparent lack of write protect on Rocket 128. Knowing about it I can usually get round it.

The Chinon is failing to read. Speed comes up with a crazy value.

I'll put a scope onto it and see what the real timing is at the weekend. I have used one of the diagnostic applications so far.
