The Keyboard encoder is different but you can swap in a complete keyboard with encoder. That’d tell you if the issue is on the motherboard or not

The Rev 4 was the last Apple II to use the 2513 ROM. The later 341-0036 was not compatible with the Rev 4 and earlier Apple II motherboards. The 341-0036 is a 2716 compatible ROM

Years ago on ebay I saw a card that plugged into an 80 column card to give it 64k. You moved some chips over and it plugged into their sockets. It was quite a while ago and I don't recall anything else

I had a number of early 80 column cards with 1k. I kept a couple in case I should ever think of a use and recycled the rest.

I go for the enhanced upgrade then I put the old chips in a small bag and fasten it to the power cable. Only see them when I lift the cover and they're never lost

And don't install or especially remove any card while the power is on. While itis possible, there is a very good chance of shorting something.

That's definitely an aftermarket replacement. There were a lot of aftermarket power supplies available at the time. A lot of them were higher output than Apples
