I think most people would use cpmtools to write to a disk image and then write that image to a disk or convert it to a format that your gotek firmware can read. Some might also use 22disk if they have an old DOS machine with a floppy drive/gotek.

Homebrew needs to be modified to work with other rom versions. The loader required needs to promoted more and made easier, so more developers use it. Until that happens there are 2 roms you can use that should run everything: ONABU supports floppy, homebrew and the cycles (NABU channel)...

I tested it. You're right, it seems to save and load fine. People will just need to extract their old files and write them onto NABU disks.

revA is the only one that network boots successfully for me. I can get ver29 to boot from floppy if I reset with F3 after it has loaded.

Takes a while but CPM booted. I can't view my previous OSBORNE1 .dsk files anymore, they show up as NABU disks. Is there a way to turn it off or are we converting to NABU format now?
