Step back into a time when games were simple, joy came in 8 bits, and a joystick was all you needed.
A joystick in hand, no clouds in the skies,
Just Donkey Kong barrels and Frogs that fly.
We’d leap, we’d climb, we’d dodge with flair,
No worries at all—not a single care.
One screen, one goal—just beat that score,
Then hand it off so my friend could try more.
Those rooms glowed, and laughter rang loud,
As Pac-Man was chased—I made my parents proud.
Lode Runner maps and Miner’s mines,
Felt like quests through distant times.
No tariffs, no transactions, no online hate—
Just a joystick, and my high score fate.
The days were simple, the games were bold,
I still feel those memories I cherish of old.
And now those moments, so vivid, so bright—
Let’s return once more to Atari Insights.
