10MHz battle: 286 vs NEC V30

Were there other clones that used a 286 in an XT class computer? Or was this unique to Tandy 1000?

Seaken
Someone showed a version of the ITT XTRA which had a 286, but only 8-bit slots. It seemed to have a propriatery memory-card slot though which seemed to allow RAM past 1Mb.

That is interesting. I've got a XT/Turbo ITT XTRA Professional system with 700+ addressable ram, FDD(750K), hdd (ST506),video, serial and lpt are all on the mobo. Finding jumper settings is quite difficult. All the 8-bt isa expanation cards are mounted on a riser card.

They advertised up to 1.64 MB of zero-wait-state RAM:

Nice to see a comparison of branded machines.
I'm going to test my xt-286 clone (im finishing some configs). But it Seems to be a little slower than yours.
Maybe some memory optimization made by Tandy or memory speed.

Regards
