I just remembered; The name of some of the mainframe machines were Prime.
It's a lot of everything really: Terminals, mainframes, S-100 stuff, monitors, keyboard, computers , drives.. It's stacked roof-high and it's hard to get at the things that's not near the edges and the top. What I saw with DEC on it was VT100's and other DEC terminals. Oh, and the diskpacks. There's probably more, but I was looking for other things.
I plan to go on a second trip, so I will keep my eyes open. I want a VT100 and I regret not taking one with me..
You lucky Boy!
You might want to look up the Tom Baker/Lalla Ward (ooooh!) "Doctor Who" - Prime adverts. they are around on you tube I think.
Any.... ASR33s in that haul? It would be a lot easier/cheaper to import from within Europe for me. My brother in law used to regularly drive there till last month
Heh not as I recall, but why don't you all post names of stuff I should look for, and then I can look for it the next time I go there.
For me it is anything labeled "digital" and flip-chips.
flip-chips look like this: http://archive.computerhistory.org/resources/still-image/DEC/DEC_Modules/
or like this: http://www.compsy.de/moduls/gifs/M8014.jpg
Also I'm a big fan of SGI.
Being realistic though, if its to big I will probably not want to pay for shipping and I can't promise a roadtrip to Norway _this_ year.
As some one else on this forum found out not too long ago, there is a BIG difference between getting stuff and getting stuff that you can fix and/or flog
