A500 Internal Floppy not working after installing boot selector

Hello,

I recently purchased a DF0/DF1 Boot Selextor that is installed in the Even CIA socket. The boot selector is configured to boot to DF1, which is an external Gotek.

The external floppy emulator is working correctly as it shows up as DF0. My issue is that the internal floppy drive no longer is accessed. Are there specific jumper settings on the floppy drive itself that I need to configure? I have the Gotek configured with the S0 jumper installed. Amiga test kit does not detect DF1, which should be the internal floppy drive.

If this is not a jumper issue, does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

I'm afraid you've a wrong configuration. I guess the boot selector expects an external device as DF1: and the internal as DF0: and switch between them. You have configured the external as DF0: and probably this could cause conflicts.

Leave internal as is (DF0: ) and simply configure the Gotek as a standard external second drive, DF1:
