Hi. I turned on my Acorn Archimedes A4000 and on the monitor it said "Out of scan range." Then I turned it off, on again and it worked. Then the next day I tried it and it always says "Out of scan range" and won't work at all no matter what I try. Any tips on what could be wrong with it?

Acorn A4000 out of scan range

Probably your RTC battery is dead. There are some key combinations by which you can select VGA or RGB monitor output:
If it's a VGA monitor, hold down the 3 key on the numpad (not the main keyboard) until after the beep.
If it's a "TV" (RGB) type monitor, hold down the 0 key instead.
If it's a VGA monitor, hold down the 3 key on the numpad (not the main keyboard) until after the beep.
