Adapter needed

Bought a DB9 F to DB15 M adapter but turns out my 1000 RLX needs a 3 row DB14 M and I didn't see one in my searches. Or, I'm I mistaken and only a 3 row DB12 M is needed? Located a Belkin cable on Ebay, ty.

What are you trying to connect? A VGA connector is the same size as a DE-9 but it has 3 rows of 15 pins total. Some of those pins may be missing on the connector.

Computer had 14 pin vga so I had to order special adapter. Thx.

Tandy left a pin out to make it unique. I drilled a hole on the computer so a standard VGA cable could work

I have the same thing with some IBM P70s. The VGA connectors even had a barely visible indentation where a hole would normally be (pin 9 I believe). I heated up a wire and poked it through...problem solved.

I'm still not sure what the OP is talking about when mentioning 9 and 12 pin connectors?
