After 56 years supplying surplus and new electronic parts and supplies, we have decided to call it quits. We expect to close our doors before the end of August, 2023.​

Don't know if this is old news, but it was new to me. As it turns out, I had ordered a small batch of parts just a short time ago and saw it on the included flyer. Over the years, I would intermittently order from them when I needed some niche part...and I would always end up getting other stuff. Sad to see them go.

This does not surprise me. I try to limit the number of silos I access. The womb is the archetype silo. The CNS has limited capacity by design and the proliferation of information silos is a necessary coping mechanism. I won't even watch SILO because I will not extend my incoming communication to Apple TV+. It is not silophobia, it is an energy resource allocation issue.
