Any generic card services for dos that work on "all" laptops?

I'm on the hunt for some dos card service drivers for an IBM 760ED. The IBM site only has them for Windows 95. I took a stab at trying the IBM 755 drivers but they did not work. Are there any generic card services that can be installed and used in dos?

They don't exist. OEMs usually took a product like SystemSoft CardSoft and bundled in the appropriate .SYS driver for the PCMCIA controller in the machine. IBM appeared to use a program called "PC Card Director"

Super cool and thanks! It even lists the 760ED in the readme. The installer fails part way but I was able to copy all of the files and then I added the same lines from my IBM 755c. That still didn't work at first but one of the files named IBMDSS01.SYS had a S04 and a S14.SYS. I tried each of those and the S14 worked! I got some complaints that the card services was way out of date but everything still worked.

I think having the IBMDSS14.SYS is the key. I might retry the newer IBM 755c card services and use that S14 version to see if it works without any warnings.
