Anyone know what kind of daughterboard is on this Kaypro?

Thank you for that - indeed it does appear to be as you say... At first the number of wires threw me a little, but I guess it was only carrying I/O and used the Kaypro II board as an I/O board with limited address lines.

I assume that is 4 banks of 64K - How did they switch processors - Do you know? It looks like you had to have the correct application to run, then it would boot DOS... I need to find some disk images now.
I wonder how common this was on early IIs - Everything I have seen looks like it was intended for the 4. How common were these things in the Kaypro II ?

I notice that the Kaypro 16 runs basic MSDOS software in a similar workspace to this card - but the Kaypro 16 also appears to be ISA compatible, so I'm assuming *is* IBM compatible. Does anyone know if the software for the Kaypro 16 worked on this card, or had that all moved to PC compatible rather than MS-DOS compatible at the time?
