well the apple i got has two cards i might be able to use for serial with adtpro. a novations cat-com modem that aperently has a serial port on it somewhere and a ssm microcomputer products AIO-II card. my problems are 1. will either work in place of a super serial card. 2 what are the pinouts of the boards so i can make adapters. unfortunatly the only cable i got was the 7 foot long parrallel cable for the fingerprint G+ card.

Maybe. :)

Interesting. Have you come across any documentation for it?

Hmmm. Hits on AIO-II here:

Hmmm. Depends on if either of your cards are hardware-compatible with the Super Serial card, or if they obey the Pascal entry points (and you have one installed in slot 2). But probably not.

Sorry, no idea on that one...

Apple Cat is not compatible with Super Serial Card (SSC.) Apple Cat's serial port is also capped at 1200 bps (keep in mind this was originally designed to work with either the 1200 bps add-on modem card, or a serial printer,) so if you do manage to patch ADTpro to work with it, it would still take about 20 minutes to transfer a 140k disk.

Hardware wise, Apple Cat is VERY VERY different from the 6551 on the SSC.
