Yeah, same with other sales type positions...from family members' experience, the car folks aren't quite as bad as the insurance sales folks.

If you have good people skills selling cars is not all that hard. Many used car salesmen hardly even know much about cars. its all about talking the customer into buying your car, Making them feel good and confident that they're getting a good deal. And yes I sold a few cars in the past. But never on a lot.


Just remember, the new kind primer is yellow, red cars are bad luck and if you don't get much rain where you live water based paint without a clear coat is cheaper. :D (used cars reference)
