Bob Applegate has passed away

Just letting everyone know that Bob Applegate passed away a few days ago. He had been battling cancer for some time. He was involved with vintage computing for some time. Here is his website: http://www.corshamtech.com/

I've been dealing with Bob for quite some time. He was a great fellow. SIGH.

I had a really nice talk with Bob a few years ago, at VCF East. He was a great guy, and this is a heck of a loss to the vintage computing community,

I was an early user of his KIM-1 boards and ordered some additional boards from him a few weeks ago. He said the treatment was not going well. I'm glad he is at peace, but it's a loss to the community and his family.

I never met him, but he provided me with hours of entertainment building up his 6800/6809 pcb boards. An excellent engineer, who did some great work.
