Hi, I'm refurbing a 1980 Apple II Europlus. It's been in storage since 1990, my seller tells me. I cleaned the Motherboard up, and connected the PSU, with nothing else except the motherboard. You can guess - fizzle, smoke, nasty smell. I popped the rivets, and sure enough the main capacitor had split and melted. I've sourced a new set of Hitano caps from a UK company.
But... in order to get the PSU PCB out to work comfortably on it, I removed the Live and Neutral wires, which were connected to the PCB using some kind of bullet type posts. I damaged the female part, ie the part at then end of the Live and Neutral wires.
Does anyone know what these connectors are? Or what they are called? I will need to put new ones onto the wires, to push back onto the PCB posts.
Long journey ahead I reckon.
Cheers,
Con
