Decades ago these were the staple office computer in BT (I'm in the UK), I did loads of assembler and PLI/80 development for our reporting systems, I grew very fond of Casu's.
I just wondered if any had survived. I'd love one myself but I guess they now go for several times more than they did brand new :)
Google has very little to offer on Casu. I still have one nostalgic 8" system disk, not sure it will be readable after 45 years...
Cheers
Phil

A lot of systems go for around what they did new, and most still go for less, even without accounting for inflation, so often it's just a matter of keeping on looking and sooner or later if you ask around, someone will likely find one.

Hi Phil
I was in charge of the group that installed most of the SBC’s in BT. I loved the Casu Mini C which also had a hard drive. It was one of the best of the early CP/M based machines. I wish I had one as well. Best of luck in your endeavours.

Hi Phil, I used one during my time at BT, we heard a rumour that the name CaSu was derived from the first names of the founders daughters (Caroline and Suzanne), never sure if that was true or not. Have never seen one come up on fleabay despite have a permanent alert set up for one.

Irrelevant, but I'm also in North Yorkshire.

Do you know any BT offices that certainly had these machines, i.e. same building now as then, and still BT.

Ask there. When were machines disposed of, and how? Were they just piled into a skip? Contractor took them all, if so, who? Did any staff get chance to take one home? Someone may have one still, know little about it, have little interest in 'vintage computers'. If same office, maybe one in a cupboard, totally forgotten. Basement or loft.

Hi If you want I can put it up on ebay... but know one thing it's big and heavy so it would be good if you came to me...

I got it from @PawelGr (very nice person and professional seller, I must say). With some time I'll take pictures and document it but, for now, a long process to go and no much time free, it will take me easily one year. If anyone knows where I could download any disk image associated to it, I would appreciate it. I guess CP/M 2.2 must run flawlessly. Will try with other images for similar systems, when it boots.
