CIT-101 Terminal Parts in Bonn, Germany

Hi everyone,

I erroneously grabbed some parts from a scrapped terminal which I *thought* I could use for my VT100. I now realise these are from a CIT-101, and aren't interchangeable. In particular, these are: PSU, keyboard (somewhat grimy), and main logic board.

I have no way of testing and am offering them as-is in the hope they may be useful to someone still operating a 101. Willing to ship overseas from Germany. Pics on request. Send me an offer for whatever they're worth to you if interested, otherwise I'll bring them back to the dumpster.

Thanks for looking & best regards,

if you can, it would be good to get firmware and keyboard microcontroller dumps off these

Hi Al,

good idea, will try that. There's a set of four EPROMs on the logic board, primarily character ROMs I guess. I assume the keyboard itself is passive, or would I find a microcontroller in there? Its protocol definitely differs from the VT100's; didn't work at all when I plugged it in.

I'm working out of town at the moment, so I'll put the dumps on my TODO.

Quick update: I got dumps of the firmware and character ROMs and sent them to Al.
