Commodore 1084 Monitor Repair Service

Does anyone know of a service that will replace capacitors for a 1084 monitor? Thanks!

I’m lucky enough to have a pair of old school tv repair shops nearby.

Getting them to fix it the way you want can be rather $$$$

Thanks, by what I’ve read online, if not careful, the CRT can discharge and vaporize the surrounding area, maybe even the entire neighborhood block.

? It'll give you one heck of a jolt, but that's about all. But really, working on them safely is pretty easy to do.

Maybe a 1084 would take out a city block. But I happen to know on good authority that small country towns have disappeared when 21" tubes have been carelessly manhandled. Best to do that sort of thing out in the desert.
