I have an 800XL, 1050 disk drive and 1025 printer set up, but with a problem.
What is the correct configuration to have the one disk drive, printer and computer? When I try to format a disk or save or list the directory of a disk I keep getting an IO error. What am I doing wrong??
is it a jumper setting on the drive? I know there are four positions. For simplicity's sake, they are leftleft, rightright, leftright, rightleft. Do I need to run an OS as well? The atariwriter cart boots up the computer okay, it seems to have a working OS when it boots with the cart in. Again, what am I doing wrong?
