• Please review our updated Terms and Rules here
  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

[Craigslist] Huge Lot of DEC hardware found!

It's been on craigslist for about a month, so it's all been baking in that truck for at least that long. The seller was trying to unload it as a lot only.

Hmm, what is going on here? Is this a way to avoid eBay listing fees, or keep bumping the listing up to the top of new listings, or is something else going on here?

These listings all keep ending with the status "This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing."

I can't see any obvious "errors" that have been corrected between any of these listings, they all appear to be identical, and there have been a lot more than these 10 instances of the listing.

Maybe someone doesn't ebay good. I've had sellers do weird things with the "Best Offer" feature, like cancelling the listing when I've made an offer, relisting at slightly higher than my offer price, then cancelling *that* listing and relisting at the original price a few days later.
