Didn't see that coming!

I worked on a lot of TVs whilst observing them in a mirror.

It sounds nice, but that blasted mirror is never in the right spot. You get a kink in your neck tirelessly adjusting convergence magnets standing in weird positions let me tell you.

Incidentally, the only place the photo looks sideways is here, whatever that means.

My wife has a camera that always takes sideways pictures. I did not use that one.

Oh boy, that brings back more memories. One problem with doing color convergence via mirror is the mirror really needed to be front silvered. The mirror glass actually has a prism
effect that shifts the colors with respect to each other. A real PIA ...
The mirrors in projection TV's were front silvered and very expensive.
