Hi all,

My tweneer system is a 486DX2/66Mhz with Win95 (OCR2) installed. I need a disk image software (that produces .img files) that can run on it. What I've tried:

Winimage (went back to 8.1) - even though it says it will run on Win95 it does not, since Kernel32.DLL is missing IsDebuggerPresent (which was added on NT). I can go back to even older versions I guess.
WinHex - complains about missing MSIMG.DLL
X-Ways Replica - not available anymore.
Disk-image (disk_image.com) produces DIM files (not IMG)
IMG (http://www.bttr-software.de/freesoft/disk2.htm#floppyutil) only works with drive A: (I want to image stuff from drive B:, which is my 5" drive).

What else is there to try, for either DOS or Win95 proper?

Regards,
Vlad.

Diskcopy.com from Digital Research is what I use on my tweener in DOS. It writes and restores .IMG files that I believe are compatible with WinImage, etc.

An older version of WinImage will work. I think I used to use version 6 back in the day.

I believe 6.10.6100 is the final version that will work on Windows 95. Over all it does as good a job on 95.

Even though the solution was found, I thought I'd add that Norton Ghost 2003 works for me on Windows 95 installed on a 486 DX2/66 Mhz.
