A forum member has expressed some interest in one of the shrink-wrapped Win 3.1's I recently found and I have some concern about the actual contents of the package. (see pictures)
Both the DOS 5.0 and the Win 3.1 packages, as shown, were found together, but neither box specifically states that media is indeed actually enclosed.
The DOS 5.0 box has a hologram on the side and I can feel/see at least one 3 1/2" floppy inside, however, with the Win 3.1 box, although I can't feel anything from the outside, when shaken, it sure sounds and feels like there is media shifting around inside.
I'm asking because there are some other markings on the package and my experience with non-retail packaging is somewhat limited and I do not wish to unknowingly misrepresent what I have here.
