I am looking for recommendations for a Mac emulator for a Windows 10 laptop. I now have need to run Facetime on my wife's i5 Windows 10 laptop. She is very ill, and her far flung family wants to use Facetime to stay in touch with her, but I don't want to thrust an unfamiliar machine on her. I am reading that you can get Facetime going in Widows with an emulator.

Besides, I would rather enjoy sidestepping these corporate roadblocks.

You can install OS/X in Virtualbox or another VM host but you're basically making a hackintosh at that point. It takes a lot of messing around to get to work. I think Snow Leopard Server is the only version that officially supports running in a VM but that's more a matter of licensing stupidity than any technical limitation.

There's no general purpose emulator for running Mac software on Windows (i.e. "reverse WINE") as far as I know. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong though!)
