Sorry I haven't been able to post much, but it's been really busy!
Picture uploads will have to wait until i return, as the uplink on the satellite is, um, atrocious!
Ship was handed over on Monday, and we sailed out of Eemshaven, NL on Tuesday 4PM (local time - that would be 10am EST). Sailed overnight to Rotterdam, NL arriving Wednesday morning. Here we picked up 1800 guests, such as VIPs, Travel Agents (customary), etc... and sailed out about 6:30pm.
We are heading towards Rotterdam, leave about 6:00PM or so for our first revenue cruise, sailing to Dover, UK. We arrive in Dover on Friday morning about 4:30am local time (10:30PM EST) and I fly out at 12:30pm local time from London-Heathrow. That should be fun, as Heathrow is about the WORST airport on the GLOBE to fly out of. They restrict all passengers to *ONE* carry-on bag and about a 50-60lb per checked bag limit. I will need to acquire another piece of luggage (if possible!) in Rotterdam, or worst case, one on the ship.
We had our Go-Live tonight at 6:30PM local time for the casino, and thankfully, all went well.
