Kinda high for a small case like that. I've shipped towers twice the size for less than half the cost.

A function of the box size and distance. Put it in the smallest box possible whilst still having some cushion. Shipping anything from SE FL to anywhere except AL / FL / GA / MS (and maybe closer) is just expensive. When I look at items in CA / WA / OR the shipping on PCs is $100+ usually. That is why I source everything in the SE usually.
