go kart help!!!

hey i was wondering if anyone knew how to put a lawnmower engine on to a go kart (my old engine doesn't run anymore)?

What kind of engine? Side shaft or bottom shaft? Do you want gears and reverse, or just the throttle up = faster forward?

I assume you mean your horizontal shaft engine is bad and you want to use a 3.5hp lawn mower engine or something. If that is the case, you will HAVE to save up for a horizontal shaft engine. There is no way to convert a go kart that uses a horizontal shaft engine to a vertical shaft.
