I've been around here for a bit, but never bothered to introduce myself. I live in Colorado, write software for a living, play in a band, ride bicycles and drink beer, and mess around with old computers. I'd tell you how many, but it would probably just depress me if I truly knew how many old computers I've amassed. Somewhere north of a dozen, south of two dozen. Some of them are pretty cool. I'm most passionate about the PC era from XT through 486, because that's when I was most into hardware. (That may or may not have something to do with the fact that around the time the 586 hit the scene, computers started being a 'job' for me, rather than just something I messed around with for fun.) Anyway, I do still like tinkering around with them, and have a variety of non-PC computers of the Commodore, Apple, and Sun ilk.
