Hello everyone,

I've been trying to identify this "computer" for months. These images were taken in 1985-86 in the UK. They are screenshots and Behind the Scenes images from a film.

What I know is:

- it is blue-ish and white
- it may have a thin flat panel membrane keyboard (no key travel)
- the monitor may be positioned upside down
- it is capable of showing colour, if it hasn't been altered to do so for the film (at one point it shows a static image displaying a vivid illuminated yellow, black and white image)
- it has a "flat" screen
- it is pre-1986

Any suggestions and / or help is greatly appreciated!

M.

The pictures are as good as I can get. Maybe the forum resized the image?

Try this:

Still needing some help/guesses, but I may have a lead, once I received a new photo!

Now, this is what I believe to be a portable PC, similar in design to the Commodore 64SX. It looks entirely different than the unit above, BUT it appears like this new portable PC may have the same flat membrane keyboard. (rather, it appears like the keyboard that is normally paired with this portable PC may have been set with the "monitor" from the above post's images.)

What I believe of this new portable PC is that it is navy/royal blue and white/off-white (it's hard to tell from this screenshot from the film)
