Help needed to test 9 track reel to reel tapes?

I have found two sources of cheap 9 track reel to reel tapes, one UK seller probably has a lot and the other has 200! 2400 foot tapes, but is in the USA South Plainfield, New Jersey and I am in the uk, at the moment I dont have any tape drives, but am buying a Qualstar 1052 tape drive that need work! so also looking for a Pertec interface adapter, I have 4 used tapes from the UK seller on my shelf.

is there anyone that could test a sample of the tapes for me in the UK?
and dose anyone in the UK want to split the load of 200 tapes with me?
or is there a cheaper source/way to get 9 track reel to reel tapes and drives in the UK?

I am not giving up on the pdp8 dream, I am just collecting the parts I will need, and some are getting harder to find, and a stack of tapes looks impressive!
