Ok so I have a JU-455-2 that works just fine. All my jumper settings are correct. Now I’m trying to emulate the same jumper settings on the -5 version. Is this possible? To me it just seems like a newer revision. Upon using Kryoflux I was able to read I think up to 40 something tracks then it completes. My other drive is I think 83 tracks or about there. Could anyone be able to assist me ? Here are the photos of the -2 and then the -5

Keep in mind the resistor terminator is missing on the -5. I borrowed one to use for now. Any idea how to search for a replacement on these?

Thanks for any help.

Jumpered on the -2 the good one is: DS, D1, AT, BX, RD, MM, OA

And permanent jumpered is: GX, FX, DR,HH,AR,WP,MSE I think..

Al I’m curious what the difference is from the JU-455-2 and the
JU-455-5

They both appear to be identical in all aspects except for the main pcb.
