This old 486 PC has been on a shelf for 10 year.
I re-started it today.
Lights , fans, etc ... goes up and the computer beep as the HD is missing.
The problem : Display is Black, saying : "NO SIGNAL"
The monitor is good, tested on another PC
The video card is a "stand alone" PCI / VGA card.
How comes that I do have AT LEAST the prompt from BIOS ??
What I am missing ?
NO Hard disk should not be a problem, should it ?
Is it possible that the video card died ** OR **
than an exhausted battery ( on the CM ) might be the problem ??
Thanks for the help.
