I'm new to the TRS-80 model 4.. I've booted from FreHD in LS-DOS 6 and managed to import some disk images (cobol) to my hard drive partition.

I wanted to also write a real floppy of the cobol disk, but realized the devices (0-7) are all assigned to hard disk partitions.

How do I mount the floppy devices so I can backup to floppy?

Thanks!

Type FREE at MOST dos prompt and yoT will see where your floppies will be located, this varies a little from DOS to DOS you us on the FREHD.

Now that said, if you are using the boot diskette (hdd with Image 7 partitions) you will need to set " system (drive=7, driver="floppy/dct") " to retore your floppy drive otherwise as you noticed you don't have one set.
then to keep it you need to set " Sysgen (drive=0) " to make it permanent.
