How to Test XT-IDE and DOM

I'm working on soldering together an XT-IDE rev2 board. When finished, I want to do some testing on it and the Disk on Module I have for it, to be as sure as possible that it is 100% working properly. Are there any preferred utilities to give it a workout and test for errors?

I use the same thing I use for floppies and hard disks... Norton 4.5 AE, Disk Test (DT) or Disk Doctor (NDD).

Thanks for the info. Is the "Disk Test" a free/shareware program? Any thoughts on where to acquire the Norton software? Guessing it's not freely available on the web...? At least I'm not finding it from a quick search, and probably not acceptable to share links like that here.
