I've got an HP a1483w to sell as I need to come up with some cash. I spent the day restoring it.
AMD 64 X2 2.2GHz
250GB SATA
DVDRW Lightscribe burner
Front card ports
2.5GB RAM
3.5" 1.44MB floppy drive
HD audio ports
256MB Video RAM VGA/DVI
7 USB ports
3 Firewire
Ethernet 10/100
It's got Windows XP Media Center installed on it but I can put Ubuntu 7.10 on it if you want, or have it dual-booting both. Also have Windows 7 BETA I can put on it. Runs Windows 7 well, as well as the other operating systems. Has AVG 8.0 on it and no viruses or spyware. Runs great and looks the same as new. I've got one picture of it that kindof sucks, but if you look at stock photos mine looks no different other than having a 3.5" 1.44MB floppy drive in the 3.5" bay.
Will be packed well. I'm looking for $225 out of it but I'll take the best offer I get.
