Hi,
I'm having some problems writing back to floppy disk a Transcopy 3.3 dump I took of the game Moebius by Origin Systems.
I understand the copy protection on the floppy is Origin Systems OSI-1 so this version of Transcopy should be able to write it back as it was not until later Central Point Software started to weaken their software due to pressure from software companies.
The disk write reaches the HEX track 2,9 (end) but then instead of finishing seems to go back to HEX Track 0,0 Like in the attached imaged and locks the PC up. I have to turn off and on to get it going again. Ctrl+Alt+Del does not work. (Verify Write is not selected).
Any ideas what's going on? Why the lockup. Why its not finishing the write correctly?
