IBM external CD-Rom driver hunt

I know this doen't quite fit the criteria for vintage but here goes. Does anyone out there have any good links that might bag me the device drivers for the following IBM external CD-Rom drives?

IBM
ORB-CD12X

Drive #2
p/n 61G4113
model 3509-001

On the 3509, IBM doesn't make CD-ROMs. If you describe the connections on the back (SCSI or something different) and open the case to see who manufactured the actual device, you'll do a lot better trying to determine what drivers it needs.
